About Trip

Mera Peak (6,654 m) is the highest permitted trekking peak in Nepal. It stands to the south of Everest. The route they used is still the standard route. The summit of Mera Peak provides one of the finest viewpoints in Nepal, offering a panoramic view of Chamlang, Kangchenjunga, Makalu, and Baruntse in the east and the peaks of Cho-Oyu, Ama Dablam and Kangtega to the west. Everest can be viewed to the north over the massive unclimbed south face of Lhotse and the Nuptse/Lhotse ridge. Under favorable conditions, it is possible to climb the peak and descend back on the same day.

  • Day 04: Phalu to Nunathala (1400m) 5 hrs
  • Day 05: Trek to Kharikhola 2,370m 6 hrs
  • Day 06: Trek to Pangoma 2,846m 5/6 hrs
  • Day 07: Trek to NajingDingma 2,600m 5/6 hrs
  • Day 08: Trek to CholemKharkha 3,600m 4/5 hrs
  • Day 09: Trek to Khola Kharka 4,200m 6/7 hrs
  • Day 10: Trek to Kothe 3600m 6 hrs
  • Day 11: Rest day.
  • Day 12: Trek to Thangnak 4,356m 5/6 hrs
  • Day 13: Trek to Khare 49659m 3/4 hrs
  • Day 14: Rest day for acclimatization and preparation climbing
  • Day 15: Climb to high camp 5,780m 6/7 hrs
  • Day 16: Climb to Meracentre 6,464m.summit and back to Khare 8/10 hrs. Today is challenging day due to the summit.
  • Day 17: Reserved day in case of bad weather
  • Day 18: Trek to Kothe 3,600m 5/6 hrs
  • Day 19: Flight KTM (or already KTM +)
  • Day 20: Trek to Lukla 2,840m 7/8 hrs
  • Day 21: Lukla to Kathmandu 1, 350m, transfer to Hotel
  • Day 22: Departure from Kathmandu
