This mountain is situated on the border of Nepal and sikkim in the srate of India .so politically,itissuggested you to visit the North and south side of the mountain from the Nepal side and be equipped for a high crossing ,which requires enough time [ca.3/4 weeks] A special trekking permits is Required to trek in this region offers magnificent views of Everest, Makalu,Baruntse and Kanchanjungaand famous for its proximity to Kanchenjunga,the third higest mountain in the world.
