There are only 2 transportation options available for Everest region trekking; hence one you fly to Lukla and start trekking, another you drive to jiri and start your trekking. Normally, if you fly to Lukla then you can finish your trekking some days earlier and if you drive to jiri that more long and enjoyable through remote villages of Nepal.
